Rimplas - News
The sophisticated mechanism of the De La Rue 6000 note sorting equipment has now been displayed in its upgraded appearance. Many of the covers have been moulded in Rimplas’ System 60 Rigid Polyurethane from cast aluminium tools. The largest cover
(1680mm x 900mm x 400mm deep approaching 14kg.), displays good dimensional stability and repeatability, key factors taken into consideration when the modular concept was designed.

Not surprising then that De La Rue came back to Rimplas when upgrading the 3700 machine. This time, with larger quantities involved but the same stringent mechanical requirements, the parts were produced from System 110 and Noryl FN150 structural
foam processes out of machined aluminium tools.

Idea - Design - Prototype - Product - Rimplas will make it happen.
